Rules for Commenting (please read)
- All comments/posts will be moderated before display (primarily to ensure that comments are genuine and have serious intent).
- You do not need to be registered and logged in to comment.
- You can comment anonymously because you can use an alias, but please give an accurate email address, which we WILL NOT publish.
- We may alter comments to ensure that they meet the site’s rules for commenting.
- You are welcome to leave comments about particular students or teachers. (It may be useful for us to build a picture of a student or teacher that should be recognised, assisted or sanctioned.) However, our policy will be to remove names prior to publication.
- We may draw a school’s attention to any significant issues raised in posts/comments, but we will not reveal the source.
- Comments about the site itself, rather than issues relating to schools or education, are welcome but will be considered “off topic” and not published.
In submitting a comment or post, you agree that you will not (nor allow others to):
- post or transit any material which is offensive, racist, abusive, indecent, defamatory, obscene or menacing;
- impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any one or any entity;
- post or transmit any statements which are intentionally false or misleading;
- post or transmit any advertising, promotional materials or other forms of solicitation.
